Let It Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!

Okay, so we've been told for several days that we might get a little "Winter Precipitation" in the area tonight, but that we shouldn't expect much. Don't tell my kids that--especially Jackson and Macey. Jackson has been praying and praying and praying for SNOW. I talked to him about how if God said "yes" we would praise Him and if God said "no", we would praise Him--that God knows best. Well, look at how God chose to answer...

This is "Phil", the snowman. (Named so by Macey....his "creator".) I don't think I've ever seen Jackson more excited in his life, nor have I heard Macey praise God so openly in hers. And, if we find out school has been cancelled tomorrow, I'm sure Amelia will be offering some praise of her own! It's been such a fun night. We're told it'll all turn to sleet by the end of the night, but we were given this special gift tonight and we've really enjoyed it. On top of all of that, I'm enjoying my cup of Hot Caramel Apple Cider...not a bad night at all.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to finally break down and join the whole Blogging family! I am always a few steps behind everyone else when it comes to technology; so much so that I still don't even own an IPOD! I tend to become addicted too easily to this kind of thing and spend way tooooo much time on it. I had a bit of a stint with a freebie MP3 player and spent more time finding and downloading music than I did actually listening to it, so I decided to stick with CD's and radio.
